About the Role
Goal is to support the team is to manage the renewable energy projects to volume up and accelerate Brawn Energy’s # of MW from technical aspects to establishing / implementing the structure and process. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects within the organization, ensuring successful project execution and delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet project objectives, deadlines, and budgetary requirements. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a proven track record of managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives and expectations.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budget constraints.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, analyze project data, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
- Maintain open lines of communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
- Establish landowner relationships as the lease or land purchase is executed and maintains these relationships through construction.
- Effectively communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders through regular meetings and reports.
- Address and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards and requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews to evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Budget and Resource Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring proper allocation of resources.
- Optimize resource utilization and identify opportunities to minimize project costs.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify lessons learned from completed projects and apply them to future initiatives.
- Stay updated with industry trends, project management best practices, and new technologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of 3+ yrs in Project Management.
- Deep understanding of Japanese policy/regulation/laws and market dynamics related to renewables as a foundation of business strategy.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, or a related field. A focus on renewable energy is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, and biomass is a plus.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and software applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to work with different background to achieve the goal with clear next actions.
- Ability to structure unstructured problems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects.
- Based in Japan, some domestic travel required.
- Professional working proficiency in Japanese and English.
